Tiger Woods’ Wife Seen Without her Wedding Ring!
Elin Nordegren, married to golf pro Tiger Woods, has recently been seen without her wedding ring. Likely due to Tiger’s alleged extramarital affairs, it seems that the couple’s five-year marriage is coming to an end. Some Nordegren insiders report that Tiger’s wife may be on the fence regarding the divorce, likely because the couple shares two children together. It is also reported that Tiger is trying to hold on to his family and the couple have been going through extensive marriage counseling. If the two do actually divorce, it will be the most expensive settlement in celebrity history; Nordegren and Woods signed a $300 million dollar pre-nuptial agreement prior to their wedding.
Tiger met Elin back in 2001 while playing in the British Open in England. The Stockholm born model was working as an au pair for the Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevek. Two years into their relationship, while vacationing in South Africa at the Shaamwari Game Reserve, Tiger proposed to Elin during a sunset walk. They were married in October of 2004 at a $2 million event held on the 19thhole of the Sandy Lane Golf Resort, in Barbados. Hairdressers were flown in from England, 500 black and red roses were imported, and approximately 150 guests attended the event. The music at the reception was provided by the band Hootie and the Blowfish, and the wedding guests including celebrities such as Oprah, Michael Jordan, and Charles Barclay.
Tiger has been very vocal to the press over the years about his wonderful relationship with Elin. According to one of his whistle blowing mistresses, this has all been a PR stunt. Now with two children, Sam born in 2007 and Charlie born in 2009, the couple’s marriage seems to have been a sham. In November of this year, the first extramarital allegations surfaced, which Tiger adamantly denied. Since that time, roughly ten other girls have come forward admitting that they too had a relationship with the pro golfer. No longer able to dodge the rumors, Tiger made this statement to the press:
“I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.”
“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”
One of Tigers affairs continued for more than three years and it is reported that he even had a fling while Elin was pregnant. In addition to his mistresses, Tiger has also been a strip club frequenter, other news now surfacing because of his affairs. According to Elin’s close friends, divorce is a hundred percent certainty. She is deeply hurt, and claims that she could forgive one transgression, but eleven is just too much. Seems with all his millions and fame, Tiger can’t buy his way out of this one!
